Write for Us

Do you have something important, poignant or funny to say to the running world? Have you been reading some of our articles thinking, “hey, I could do that!”. Well, we think you can too, so please get in touch and tell us about your idea.

There are two ways you can contribute to CRN as a writer.

1-Send us a one-time submission: This is for the writer who’s not looking for a long-term gig and would rather submit only when the fancy strikes. Please note that we take original pieces only.

2-Apply to join our writing team: We’ve assembled a terrific team but we’re always on the lookout for talent. Is that you? Great! Tell us about yourself and what you’d like to write for us. If we like what we hear (what’s not to like right?), we’ll ask for one or two articles to see what you’re made of. Sound fair?

Please note that all articles are reviewed to determine suitability for publishing. Our goal is to let you know if you’ll be published on CRN within two weeks of submission.

So, what types of articles are we looking for?

All types! Not specific enough for you? Allright, here are some categories to get you started:

1-Running Tips, learn to run and running for beginners type stuff.
2-Reviews for shoes, gear, races, training tools, websites and anything else a runner might like to know more about.
3-Words, pictures, audio and video that will inspire and motivate your fellow runners.
4-Fun or just plain laugh out loud funny stuff on the subject of running.
5-News and opinions: Got a breaking story to share? Think you scooped the New York Post on a running story? Ready to blow the world away with your opinion on performance enhancing drugs in Olympic running events? Pitch it to us!
6-Expertise on training, nutrition and running injuries.

Those are good places to start, but don’t be shy about sharing your idea if it isn’t captured in the categories listed above.

We look forward to hearing from you. Please contact us using this form:
