I’m totally impressed that you decided to tackle the bike on your own!
That notion never entered my mind. I got my bike in the mail and promptly brought it to the local bike shop.

and there are two comments on the site where you link to your big girl bike–and both of them say something is off about that other bike.

clipping in and out can be tricky…some clips are damned near impossible…just ask my husband…still it is a pretty bike… could you give a little more time before giving it the ax?

I more of a recreational cyclist myself. We don’t have any hills so I can easily avoid this. My Walmart all-purpose mountain bike gets me 20-30 miles if I get the whim to do this, my uncoordinated freestyle gets me through my swimming, but first choice is running every time!

I don’t know. Maybe it wasn’t fitted to you properly. Jank, Audrey, Wil, other bike crazy people must have some thoughts on this. The bike shouldn’t hurt.

Then again, I haven’t ridden a bike in years. I still haven’t put the new tires on my dumpster find.

That’s a gorgeous bike, Lara. Good for you! I go try out some dutch commuter bikes on Wednesday, and I can hardly wait!
