Running In Place

I had a biscuit hangover for 2 days after Thanksgiving.  Seriously.  I ate 5 of ‘em for breakfast Friday morning.  You simply cannot beat heavy, doughy, fake-butter-infused bread from a tube.

The lovely snow is long gone and, unlike the folks up north, I am running in unseasonably mild 40 & 50F temps.  I’m not gonna complain about that but I do wish the snow would come back.

I’ve found that running in the dark makes me feel like I’m going alot faster than I actually am.  Illusion is way better than reality in this case.

Going to the mall to shop for something to wear to company Christmas parties is soul sucking but I comforted myself with this groovy find, which is Little Cat approved.

The pressure in Mira’s eye is finally under control!  Sure I’ll have to negociate eyedrops with her twice a day for the rest of her life but at least she’s still got her sight.  I will definitely miss seeing her (very sweet, very handsome) vet on such a regular basis though.

This year, my office is having a “Holiday” party.  Evidently, a few of my co-workers are boycotting it unless and until it is again referred to as a Christmas party.  I can’t decide which part of this is more annoying.  I mean c’mon.

I may be going out to Utah for a conference in February.  Any RBFers in Salt Lake City??
