i have trouble with the long hours wearing on me too, i can SO relate. it sure is fun when i finally make myself get out there for a run though. which lately is twice a week at the most. soon enough i will break out though and you will too, woohoo!

May seems so far off. A road trip to warmer climes with a target race sooner than later would give you a more urgent cause; besides the inner charge to run baby, run is up against turkey-party-holidays.

Committing to your first marathon is very daunting, I know. But you’ve got plenty of time until May to get ready, which is definitely a good thing. As long as you keep your resolve, you will be very well prepared. I’m sure you’ll do great.
