Hi, was looking for anyone else doing this Sunday's Adirondack half marathon. Good luck to you and your cohort, maybe we'll see each other over the weekend. I've done the Boilermaker a couple times; awesome.

Hi, came here via Blogfather's site. What an awesome run you had! I can just imagine the bagpipes on the top of the hill in the sunset. :) Those kind of moments are one of the reasons I run...

Diddo on making me homesick, Schroon Lake was one of my favorite stomping ground back in the Middle Ages. I find it absoluely cool that you and Molly can "do it again"! I'm going to have to win the lottery in the meantime so I can fly in with Jon and we can join y'all!

Glad to hear that your body is bouncing back so well from the race! And I just peeked at the website for the half...looks like a very scenic race :-)

Lara, RBF fairies, indeed! That whole registration thing is just too much of a coincidence. Glad you were able to enjoy that development run. It is a beautiful course!

Talk about synchronicity! I spent several summers on Schroon Lake as a child, camping at some camp site. Was it White's Beach? Something like that. They had cabins and there were many families there. Rowboats, canoes, and a big long white plastic dock. At midweek everyone went up into the main building for a squaredance at night. It was all very cool.

Lara, you make me so homesick.
