Meeting Miss Molly…

Filed under: General — lara at 1:19 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2005

Tonight I get to meet another RBFer! Molly and I are getting together for that hilly 10K that I might have mentioned once or twice. Since she runs the hills in her town all the time, and since she’s got a 10 mile run under her belt this week already, I’m sure I’ll get another chance to learn yet another lesson on humility ;)

Lara,
I’m already preparing to get smoked by you, since you’ve actually been doing speedwork (i.e., races), and I have done NONE since before my daughter was born! (oh yeah, and she’s 3!). But no matter what happens, it will be so fun to meet! Now we just need to keep the thunderstorms at bay…

I’m so jealous! I know you all will have a great time:) And way to go on the last race, despite your “lessons learned.”. That’s how we do it. I have a feeling I will be sorely disappointed this Sunday when I run the SH Fun Run that was my first race last summer. I had intended to return and take hours off my time. Instead, with the last couple of weeks throwing me for a curve, I’ll be lucky to finish. No matter. It is the process, isn’t it?
