I went through a similar phase a couple years back, a result of too much work, too little sleep, buying a house, job restructure, two gardens, two jobs, too many hobbies and too little time. It took me a few months to get the priorities sorted out, let a few things go, and get on with things. A nice vacation helps, enjoy your trip, drive safe!

Hi Lara! I am soooo jealous that you’re meeting Susan. Come to think of it, I’m soooo jealous that she’s meeting you, too! Sounds like lots of fun runs are in your future, so don’t worry if there’s nothing feeling special just now. Sometimes, a run is just a run. Hi Lara! It sounds like you’re going through an interesting time in your life, and I just wanted to make a short comment on something that stood out to me. You may be feeling uninspired lately, but I’d like you to know that you inspire me! I’ve struggled so much with my own running, due entirely to self-imposed issues, and to see you overcome an injury and keep running even with these other things going on in your life is a great example for me. I can’t wait to see you! We’ll have lots to talk about, I’m sure. That we are both making these work-related life changes is one. Perhaps we’ll be able to help each other with some perspective about the good that will come from change. And you are my lucky charm; my 10K is the next day! We’ll do some carbo-loading at lunch!!
