Ah, man, too bad you're so far north, because you and I have a similar pace AND we could sing Cat Stevens while running. I adore that song.

That's awesome, Lara. Congratulations on your race, too. You are really going to be prepped and ready for whatever you want to do, come spring.

Four miles like it was nothing. See? Only *you* think you can't do it. Someday, I will be basking in the glory of your 5 mile race, saying "I told you so." It's all about me. :)

Your times are lovely, by the way. It's something I haven't mastered. Richard (from Running Toward Fitness) is always on me about this, and he's so right. I burn out - word for word what you said. As I got more experience running, it took longer and longer to burn out. So it felt like progress. But ultimately, consistency is what will keep us from getting injured and keep us meeting new goals.
xoxo

Wow, those times are just dead on, Lara. Excellent! You know, that is the key to running a good race, steady consistant pace. If you have a ton left at the end, then you might have been able ot run faster. Pacing it out and maximizing that pace makes for a great race. Nice pacing.
