So was yesterday a new day? It always works for me. I've had some of those moments, too, Lara. And I've decided I just don't care how fast I run until I've built up some better long distances. Someone (Mark?) told me that months ago, but I didn't listen. I kept worrying I wasn't fast enough. Well, now my longer runs are feeling much more comfortable, and yours will too. You WILL be so happy you kept up with this. You're a runner.

I think you are doing great. I noticed when I kept a steady running schedule that I was really tired. More than I expected. It wasn't that the schedule was hard, it was just that it was constant, and you body needs more rest to recover. I think that's part of the adjustment our bodies make, recovery time.

Keep getting your rest at night. You do take a rest day from running right?

You're going to be so glad you did this. And you will do it. I had a "7 mile" run on my schedule, at one point, and I just had to move it up 3 weeks because it was pissing me off that it was looming out there and I was so convinced I couldn't do it. So I just said, "eh." and I went out and did it. Then I did more. And farther. It's such a mind game. You'll do great, and when you're on the other side of it, you'll wonder what all the fuss was!
