Recently, I subscribed to American Photo - a terrific photography magazine. Here’s a sample of the excellent work you’ll see there.

There is a difference with my AP subscription - it’s digital. The mag is delivered to my computer courtesy Zinio.com

Zinio is cool. Anyone with a 17? or larger monitor will love it. The quality of the magazines is excellent and the Zinio reader (a free download) is really neat - the program makes it look like you are turning the page of a real magazine. How great is that? An environmentally friendly subscription that you keep in prestine condition on your hard drive forever.

There’s only one problem - zinio doesn’t currently have any running magazines.

Do you think we can change that? There have been examples of bloggers affecting change on the internet - do you think we can convince zinio to add a running magazine to their subscription list?

For my part, I sent an email to Running Times Magazine because they are already affiliated with Zinio - they just haven’t gotten on the digital bandwagon yet. You can do the same here.

Daily Dose of Imagery is a simply astounding photoblog. I have yet to not be awestruck by the images this fellow (Sam) takes. He has 6500 Blogline subscribers alone.

Did ya know Paula Radcliffe has a website? She even has a blog!

Posetech has started a terrific new vlog (video blog) where you can see video examples of good and bad pose form and instruction by Dr. Romanov!

Jeremy from The Running Guy is new to the RBF and has already stepped convincingly into the fray by hosting this week’s Rundown aka Carnival of Runners. Welcome and nicely done, Jeremy.

We moved Lesley’s monthly Women’s Running page (to give it more exposure) and she’s still churning out some terrific stuff. Thanks Lesley!

Oh, and just in case you missed the news, we started up a nifty new RBF Racing Calendar yesterday. It’s a shared calendar where you can enter your upcoming races so everyone can see (and get notice) of each other’s racing schedule. It’s like an RBF race alarm clock.

The better lookin’ half has a new page called Just Sew It! If you are interesting in anything to do with sewing, check it out. I have to admit, Lori’s been doing some pretty neat stuff lately. She’s made clothes for the kids and herself and even made our sister-in-law an awesome bridesmaid dress. Come to think of it, I seem to be the only one who hasn’t benefitted from this emerging skill. I guess I’ll have to get over that.
