What is the most awkward place one can get bitten by a mosquito?

I propose the ELBOW should be placed right at/near the top of the list…

…ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spent today putting on a workshop. I won’t get to run so I’ll just share a thought I had last night for you to ponder.

Do you remember running as a child?

What did running mean to you then?

I remember running through the fields of my parents farm imagining I was Steve Austin or Superman.

Back then, running was pure fun and adventure…

…hmmm

Today, I was in the change room preparing for my lunch run when I heard music coming from an aerobics class (is “aerobics” the right term or am I stuck in the 80′s?) inside the gym I run out of.

The music was Pink Floyd’s “We Don’t Need No Education” sped up by about 10 times and put to a disco dance beat!

I think I finally understand what Pink Floyd sounds like to people who are on LSD.

In the spirit of Jack Handy from Saturday Night Live, I’m creating a new category for my blog called “deep thoughts”.

I’m thinking some deep thoughts will be deep (unlike Jack’s!), others will be shallow and some may be downright frivelous (hey, it’s my blog and my category so I can do whatever I bloody well want with it so just get offa my back!).

Deep thought #1 is serious – “on your death bed” kinda serious and you just can’t get any more serious than that can you?

Here are paisano Leonardo da Vinci’s last words:

“I have offended God and mankind because my work didn’t reach the quality it should have.”

Woao…I don’t know about you but that makes me feel like I’ve got a lot to do both running and otherwise over the next 100 years (I’m gonna live to 136).
