One Hour

passion for running category: running on Tuesday, January 18 2011

The weather broke today. For the first time in two weeks, no snow and no -20 celsius.

So I got out and ran – for 64 minutes. Nice and easy. All is good!

It is always good to get out- even if just to clear the head or break a sweat.
When prepping for the marathon last year I was train to finish so my mileage and efforts were casual and easy- no speed work and no “special/specific ” hill training. Just easy runs during the week and a longer run every weekend and every 14 days take 1 run a little longer until I was ready for the Charlottesville Marathon. http://www.charlottesvillemarathon.com Lots of beautiful views along to rolling course.
