had my barium swallow today. yum.

At one point, I was turned onto my right side and I could see a window reflection of the screen the doctor was looking at. Have you ever seen your stomach on TV? I don’t know about yours, but mine is not a pretty sight.

My doctors always seem surprised that I don’t want to see my insides from the inside. I once saw my operation performed on tv (on someone else, not me) and had to turn it off – I didn’t want to see what they were doing to me!!

I hope the new meds work out and that your GERD is under control!!
