are you on facebook?
Facebook is a pretty amazing way to meet and stay in touch with people. At first, it was mostly populated by high school and college students. But I think its potential is even greater for people older than that.
So far, I’ve found it to be the nicest way to find people I haven’t been in touch with for years. I’ve found old high school and college friends I would have likely never connected with, and am finding more and more of my extended family on there.
And, of course, it’s been a great way to keep in touch with people I’ve gotten to know through this blog and at Complete Running.
I think the people who stay off Facebook do so because they are worried about too much personal information being available to “just anybody”. If you’re one of those people, it’s important you know that only people you accept as friends can see your profile information – everyone else can only see your name and photo (assuming you post one). And if that’s not enough, you can even limit the information your friends can see. It’s pretty slick.
Here’s a link to my facebook profile:
Get in touch with me there if you like.
