something you must understand

passion for running category: running on Thursday, November 9 2006

Some of you are concerned about my training plan and I really appreciate that but…

You must understand that every second run I do is EASY. Really easy. In fact, I can honestly say I have NEVER forced myself to run so slow. Those runs are pure recovery.

With that in mind, today was my 8th day running in a row and I’ve never felt better. I’m feeling fresh as a daisy. HONEST. :)

But this brings up an interesting thing to discuss. Over the next couple of days I’m going to talk about my approach for this marathon, my goals, my aspirations and generally talk about why I’m doing what I’m doing.

It’ll be fun for me to lay all that down. Hopefully it won’t be too boring for you!

You’re never boring. However, I am revamping my own training now and well I ain’t had much luck keeping up with everything lately so when it comes to letting things slide it will be the blogs and not my training. But heh, still luv ya.

Keep it up, you will do awesome! Heh, have you picked a race, which one are you training for?

I can’t wait to read about this . . . I need to start following a plan of some kind – this run easy every other day thing sounds wonderful.

You’re a huge inspiration for me. I ran once this week. Once. The big 1. Not good. So keep talking about how good it feels to run and run and run because I need something to blast me out of my not running phase. I am swimming, but not running.
