a lesson from wine making

passion for running category: running on Thursday, November 2 2006

About thirteen months ago, I made wine. I did something different this time compared to the first year I made wine.

I waited.

I waited a full year before bottling the stuff.

And guess what? I absolutely love this wine. It’s really terrific stuff! It’s so good I’m drinking one glass every day. I pour a glass for dinner and sip away on it all night. I really take my time and enjoy.

I was patient making my wine and I’m patient drinking it.

A lesson I can directly apply to my running? You betcha!
