Today, I ran 60 minutes in a cold, cold rain in my shorts. Upon returning, I jumped into a hot shower and was immediately greeted with a terrible bout of cold induced urticaria.

Yup, I live in Canada and am allergic to the cold. Nice, huh?

Holy cow — that just sucks. And I feel somewhat schmucky for yelling at you about 15 years ago to quit whining about the cold. Sorry, man.

I know the cold weather is just around the corner here too. The long range forcast here calls for it to dip to 3 C for the high by the end of month. Ouch.

I wimped out on that outside running today, mind you southern Alberta is so much colder!
