1. Hey Bloglines users! Have you noticed bloglines is looking nicer? They seem to be making improvements lately in a very quiet way.

2. When’s the last time you checked out the Netscape website? It’s amazing. Lots and lots of features that just beg you to interact. I read Jason Calacanis blog pretty regularly. He’s a big force behind Netscape’s revival. Go Jason, GO!

Running: Man, I’m feeling so great I’m thinking about heading out for my 5th run in as many days. Yabba dabba doo!

Four quality runs in four days and I believe I’ve nailed down the motivation I need to get my ass out the door in a quality+consistent way.

I’ve even got some goals coming together. Exciting news for me since I’ve been languishing for over a year in no-runner’s land.

Stay tuned for details.

I had a tremendous run today. As Bill mentioned, fall running ROCKS. It’s definitely my favorite season for running.

Today, I tackled my challenging Four Sisters route that goes up and down Edmonton’s beautiful river valley.

The run started out very badly with me fighting heartburn and overall sluggishness but, by the 20 minute mark, I was into my groove feelin’ groovy.

One hour of blissful, close-to-runner’s-high running. Sweet.

So, Pam came to Edmonton … briefly. I didn’t get to take her home (get your mind out of the gutter, Jon!). I didn’t get to show her around Edmonton. I didn’t even get to spend much time with her …a mere 90 minutes. However, the time we did spend together was super-cool.

You see, Pam was originally supposed to arrive Friday evening, stay over night and then leave early Saturday morning but her flight got mixed up and she ended up being in Edmonton between about 4:30 and 11:00 P.M. on Saturday. Lori and I had dinner plans (with reservations) with people we rarely see, so I only had 90 minutes to spend with Pam. Only 90 minutes! Ugh. Oh well, it’s quality not quantity right?

It was neat to that Pam immediately felt she knew me because I also had that feeling. In a way, I suppose I shouldn’t have been a surprised about that because we have known one another in cyber-space way for a few years now, but I suppose there is always that question when you have a real-life meeting that your cyber-impression may have been off.

Well, it wasn’t. Pam is as awesome and fun as she is on her blog. We had a great chat. We talked very little about blogging and stuck mostly to getting to know each other more personally. We talked about our families, where we live, my bizarre history with women (lesbians in particular) and even a bit about running.

Thanks Pam! That was fun and the next time you are in Edmonton, you better stay longer so we can show you around a bit. :)

Oh oh! Pam posted a picture! I have one too which I’ll post shortly.
