I have a coach. It is the running community. You, Jeff, and all of my friends on the RBF have been my coaches. And I’m writing today to thank you.

I don’t know if you were the person who left the anonymous comment on my blog. If so, thank you. If not, then I’d like to share a moment of triumph with you.

I have been trying to run a sub-6 minute mile since high school. Today I ran a 5:56 mile on a course with an uphill section. At one time it seemed an impossible goal. I’m not sure I could have done it if I hadn’t read your posts on the Pose Method. I looked into Pose and found some good advice for running up (and down) hills. I applied it and it worked wonderfully. I fought through a lot to achieve this goal, including a foot injury. I found advice for treatment for my foot problem on the CRN and it helped. Also, I found advice on running intervals on various blogs. This, of course, helped me to improve my times. The CRN and RBF have changed my running and my life.

I wish to say a hearty THANK YOU for helping me to conquer a decades long goal.
