Hey folks! I am still around and I am planning on posting my “get fit” plan shortly.

Where’ve I been? I’ve been working on something really exciting. Something I can’t share quite yet but, suffice to say, it’s been keeping me really busy.

In other news, I am the proud owner of my third iMac. iMac #1 was an original bondi blue beauty like this one:

iMac #2 got rave reviews (even got a five star rating from PC World Magazine) and we loved it.

iMac #3 is the newer model of the one you see above. It’s Intel powered, has a built in photo/video camera, a remote control for controlling music, video and photo applications, and is more powerful than the last one – even though I found that one to be perfect in the horsepower department.

iMac #2 is still working fine and dandy so why did we buy another one? Well, in a word, because I was having a hard time sharing her and the daugher and wife needed something too. Funny huh? Most families fight over the TV. We battle over the computer.

RunnerSusan calls hers “Precious” and I think that’s quite suitable for me too since I’m very Gollum-like around it. Hey, we have the same hair!

I overheard my husband say that he and I hardly need to talk anymore now that I have my blog and the running blog friends. I like the idea of naming the computer. We are a 1 TV house in a neighborhood where that is VERY odd, but we have 2 desktop computers and 2 taptops.

Jeanne’s left had me rollin’ on the floor…talk about making my day. You realize, of course, that everytime we will think of you now the Gollum-picture will pop into our heads – the mark-in-running-skirt is history.

My wife is a MAC freak and has been looking (drooling) over the new iMac – you’ll have to post a product review after you used your new baby for awhile.

Oh man….sorry to “up” you Mark but our house has way to many computers and tvs. Remember there is just me and hubby. We have 3 computers, a scanner, a color printer and a new b/w laser printer, 2 web cams. All the PCs have woofers/speakers and hubby has a steering wheel for his games. That’s just the computing gear.

We also have 2 mp3 players, 2 digital cameras, 3 vcrs, 3 tvs, 2 dvd players and two stereos.

And of course I can’t resist yet another chance to rub in the bit that we have a hot tub…lol. :-)

ah a Mac person! we have 4… and my latest ibook is so used the letters are rubbing off, “A” is completely gone. (good thing i can type without looking). congrats on the new addition!
