You know how when you lose something and find it again how it becomes that much more special to you?

I have never taken running for granted, but after my injury at Royal Victoria Marathon and my journey adapting to the Pose Method of Running, let’s just say I’ve got an enhanced appreciation for being able to run.

Monday’s run was made up of moments we live for. Ninety minutes of blissful, runner’s high filled happy happy joy joy.

And today? Today was 51 minutes of injury-free, pain-free, feel-good best stuff on earth running.

My second flight on the wings of angels this week.

So what are you drinking or what are you eating for breakfast or what are they putting into the air up there in Edmonton? Whatever it is, I want some!

Congrats!! I know sometimes it’s hard to recover from injuries. And now, just enjoy your training and your running conditions will come back quickly!!

I understand your newfound euphoria. I broke my foot and ankle a few years ago and couldn’t walk for four months, nor run for the following three while I went through rehab. I’ll never take running for granted again. Welcome back to the Runner’s High Club.

On orders by Brit, today I donated $20 to the Canadian Cancer Societies Relay for Life and $20 to the Super Cities Walk for MS.

Hi Mark,

I wonder if your readers might be interested in the book I’ve just self published called: Running on Empty:Diary of a Marathon Mum by Julia Williams.
It’s about how a serial non-runner (ie, muggins here) turned herself into a marathon mum against a backdrop of more then a little domestic mayhem.

I’m currently holding an online launch party at htpp://RunningonEmptyLaunchParty.blogspot.com.

I also have a blog at: http://maniacmum.blogspot.com which is sometimes about running, and a website at: http://www.marathonmum.com

Hope you continue injury free!

best wishes
Julia
