We’ve been without a kitchen sink for about two weeks. During that time, Lori was using the downstairs bathroom sink to wash dishes, get water for the little cooking we can do, etc.

After yesterday’s news about the countertops, I resolved to get a make shift kitchen together ASAP so last night, I hooked up our dishwasher and that thing you see pictured below (Aaron’s great idea). I was even able to get some temporary countertops set up.

Lori’s pretty happy. Of course, when the woman of the house is happy, everyone’s happy. ;)

Do you have any idea how many garages I have had where I didn’t have “one of those things” and sorely wished for one, well, do you??? Hehe, good work keeping the boss happy!

Hey, I have one of those in our laundry room. Very handy. Especially when the wifey is hogging the sink and I need the water.

Welcome to the world of contractors. If they say 7-10 days, they mean 2-3 weeks. Sorry, just the harsh reality. We remodeled our kitchen, excpept I did most of it myslef and I waited until the wife was out of town. She came home to a new kitchen and she had no idea how much beer was consumed in her absence.
