scrumptious slow run
Today rocked. I ran slow (mostly because I have to!) and was blessed with an abundance of running joy. 33 minutes of sauntering about in the woods.
And did you know Magpies are hunters? Today I saw one catch a mouse and eat it!

they kind of interesting to watch. I usually see them cleaning up roadkill.

I always think of magpies as the coyote of the sky! Ian Tyson has a great song about them.

I’m having a blast with the whole slow running thing, too… Not much wildlife lately, though. I do have a cat with a sinus infection.

That’s a beautiful bird…we don’t have them here on the Island. On a related note, I once saw a hawk go away with a poor pigeon in its grasp…it was rather sad…
