That’s heartwarming stuff. Troy’s teacher is doing something similar, where she has the class doing run/walks and is equating the distances to some of the countries they’re studying.
Teachers have all the influence in the world, I say.

I think this is fantastic. It reminds me of what an important role Phys. Ed. played in my own education…what ever happened to physically active kids anyhow? I can remember my mother kicking us out of the house in the morning and not letting us back in until it was dark. It translated into an awful lot of baseball, soccer, running, and a few evil deeds:)
What a fantastic teacher…these kids are pretty lucky!!
