Great, just great. Let’s do everything we can to weaken our feet and get them further and further disconnected from what nature intended – to make contact with the ground.

I may have to disagree here, Mark. Computer controlled shoes may have a certain degree of chick-appeal. :) Ofcourse, not as much as bare feet.

I read an interesting op-ed in Running Times talking about how running has become so gadgetized and how we are so overloaded with information that some coaches are seeing runners totally losing natural instinct and common sense! The author recalled one instance in which a runner blacked out 8 miles into a run and called his coach WONDERING if he should stop or keep going!
