Running Gifts Links

Running T-Shirts, Mugs, Clocks & More: We have two options for you. The first option is to check out our CompleteRunning Cafepress Store for all kinds of t-shirts, mugs and more. The second option is to check out runningbanana.com. Runningbanana specializes in putting custom quotes, inspiration and graphics on technical running shirts - running shirts you can actually wear while running or racing! You can find completerunning designs at runningbanana at this link.
Running Art & Posters: Check out this collection. It’s pretty cool and contains images of some of my favorite runners such as Emil Zatopek, Steve Prefontaine & Billy Mills.
More Running Art: RunnerArt makes some seriously beautiful running art. I, for one, would love to have several of their prints.
Running Music: Choosing a CD for a runner is a very personal thing so why not make it easy and fool-proof and get them an iTunes Gift Certificate? It’s the perfect compliment for anyone with an iPod!

Running Jewelry: Zimmerman’s makes some awesome running jewelry. I want one of their 26.2 pendants! Also make sure you check out Sporty Jewels. I met Denise from Sporty Jewels at the Royal Victoria Marathon Expo in October 2005. She’s got some terrific stuff - especially the products she makes for women.
Running Gear, Clothes & More: The Running Room will probably be the most awesome running gear store you’ll ever find. They’ve got a great selection, top-notch quality, and if you have a problem with any of their stuff, they’ll take it back with no hassle.
Running Books: You may want to check out my series of posts for running books links available at Amazon.
Running Movies: I also have a post of running movies links.
Running Clothes: Mountain Equipment Co-op has a limited selection of running gear, but what they do carry is really good stuff - classic designs with very good quality and the prices are generally very good. And yeah, they ship internationally.
Triathlon Shirts: Are you looking for a gift for a triathlete? Then look no further because Iron Will from throughthewall has some terrific triathlon shirts for you!

I’ll be adding to this list in the future so if you find any you think belongs here, leave me a comment!

Hi Mark-great site and Canadian too! An avid marathoner like yourself, I’ve started my own company called “Scrapping On The Run”. I design 12 X 12 scrapbook pages and albums for athletes-runners/ walkers/ of all abilities and currently selling these at local expos-recently at Around the Bay in Hamilton and soon to be at Ottawa and Toronto in the fall. My site is not yet active but will soon be and purchases can be made online. (or for now, by dropping me a line). I also offer a custom scrapbooking service-ie. provide me with all or your bibs, medals and photos and I will place them in an albums, superimposed on athletically inspired, graphically designed scrapbook sheets. Look for me on the web soon. Thanks, Natalie Needham-Nethercott, Scrapping On The Run™

Hi Mark. Overnight we had a customer forward your link to us and we wanted to shoot you a note. Great looking blog. To help with your training for the next marathon & injury recovery, we’d love to ship out to you a couple shoewallets at $0.00 charge (carry cash, keys, ID & a credit card). Since the July launch of the Ipod Sport, we’ve had a lot of customers substituting our shoewallets for the +$100 pair of Nikes to carry the Ipod Sport Sensor. Let me know what your color choices are (choice of Jet Black, Midnight Blue, Pink & Camouflage). Good luck healing/training- Brian

Hi Mark.

Great website you have here — alot of great running and content.

I thought I’d share with you a little about Finish Line Charms (www.FinishLineCharms.com), which is all about celebrating athletic achievements — unique running gifts. We carry various lines of silver & gold running jewelry, marathon jewelry, running charms and pendants, many of them engravable. In addition we now offer hand-painted, custom ornaments to commemorate races people conquered — we even paint finishing times and the year on the ornaments. Finally, we offer hand-made jewelry that can be custom created for any runner or marathoner.

I invite you to visit our site and see what we have to offer — great gifts for runners. Of course, should you have any questions, feel free to touch base with me.

Thanks again Mark and have a fantastic day!

Chip
