I'm also working on cleaning up my hard drive, although my solution - sticking everything on portable storage - creates actual mess in the real world, which might not be the best solution. What I need, is for Google to do for web storage what it did in GMail. Dump everything up via FTP, search with a good indexing program, and be done with it.
