barefoot running radio interview
Well, I met with Tim after work for the barefoot running interview. It was neat but we didn’t go for an actual run. He asked me a bunch of questions and then we ran about 50 feet while he tried to record the sound of my feet hitting the ground. What was funny was that he gave up and asked me to run alone with the microphone because all he was picking up when we ran together was the sound of his own shoes hitting the ground.
Anyway, Tim told me the interview will air on a Wednesday – maybe next Wednesday. I’ll let you know when I find out, but here are some particulars while we wait:
-The radio the interview will air on is CKUA.
-CKUA is Alberta’s oldest station and, while not as popular as many other stations, it’s pretty well known for being an eclectic source of music and information.
-Here is a link to CKUA’s internet broadcast. The broadcast works using Windows Media Player. You can download Windows Media Player for Mac or Windows here.
I asked if I can get an mp3 copy of the broadcast but Tim was not sure. If I can get it, I’ll post it!
