I have a sweet mother in law and she took care of the training, must have been the only reason I moved to New Mexico for a year.

Heh. Proudest moment of my life was when my wife called me at the office, saying that Jake had taken his first dump in the toilet.

But he hadn’t gone until after he asked “Mommy, can I have something to read first?”

When my son was potty training, he always got asked when he emerged from the bathroom whether he was successful or not and, for some reason, whether he had #1 or #2.

Once when we had a vacuum salesman at our house (don’t ask), he used the bathroom. When he came out, my son asked him “Did you pee or poop?”.

Nothing like torturing the fine people from Kirby.

Cute boy!

Yes, potty training rocks the world. Number 2 in the toilet is a very big deal to a parent.

Our 3 year old still acts surprised at how much better he feels after doing number 2 in the toilet.
