Lori and I are on vacation. We were out of town camping for the weekend. We returned to meet a cousin I’ve never met who’s from New York state.

I managed a 45 minute run (20 minutes barefoot) on Saturday at noon. Note to self: People who eat greasey campfire breakfasts and then drink a beer before running are stupid! :D

I’ve gone about a six-hour drive to the east and north for cross country races.

I think the farthest I’ve gone is about 30 minutes (30 miles?) for my first Half Marathon. Everything has since then been really close by.

all my races have been in my own city (Adelaide Australia) so have only travelled 15 – 30 minutes for them!

I am not sure I could run barefoot but have heard of the advantages to it.

The Nike barefoot shoe has only just come out here – do you know what that is like?

Enjoy your vacation =)

I can?t say it enough….I love the poll of the day!! (One time I drove 2 hrs. for a race that was supposed to be 45 minutes away. That has to count for something.)
