Today’s 40 minute run was plain and simple u-g-l-y. You know the kind right? Heavy legs. Ragged breathing. Negative self-talk…blah blah blah.

But that’s OK because a) I toughed it out b) the tough ones are there to give us perspective on the good ones and c) I beat a cajillion people to the prize just by being out there. Yeah baby yeah!

This post sounds strangely manic. Hmmm…perhaps chocolate is in order? What say you? Shall it be of the white, milk or dark variety?

Well, dark chocolate is the best chocolate in my opinion. White chocolate isn’t chocolate at all, but it is delicious. Play it safe and have some of each.

And yes, you beat ‘em. And me. I’m not even planning on running a step today, more’s the pity.

Go for the dark chocolate! The quotes on your most recent entry stop and made me read more carefully. But love this type of post even better. Struggling through it…but persevering. Running through it. Yeah. Kirsten

Dark. Mmm. Definitely dark. I see Richard was the first to comment. I hope he has a wonderful marathon race on Sunday.
