That is so great a story about how you found running for the reasons you did and that one of the reasons you did came around to find you through an interest in running. What goes around comes around. Welcome Bev.

A very cool article. I definitely believe in synchronicity, and it's interesting to think about it in the context of running. The internet undoubtedly allows so much more synchronicity than was ever possible before!

Life is interesting that way. I have my best friend to blame for my continued running. Little did I know that signing up for a yahoo group would not only keep me running, but give me a great friend and eventually lead me to my RBF's. And as I roam around the various blogs I find it all the changes interesting, kinda like when us women start rearranging one room we gotta start redoing em all. :-)

When I think about the series of events that led me to the RBF, I totally believe in synchronicity. Besides, it's a kick ass album from The Police.

Awwww, thank-you, Mark! You have fostered a wonderful and knowledgable community here, and I have learned so much from reading about other's experiences. I appreciate your stellar insight, and besides all that ... dammit .. I was touched by your post. As you know, I've spent much of my career with geriatric clients, and as one 107-year old woman told me .... the hardest experiences in life are the ones that teach us the most. We're all just students in life, and the trouble we have is being aware of the lessons. (That woman was not only wise, but fit as a fiddle!) I giggled at your "Bev's taken up running", because sometimes "running" seems like a strong word for what I'm doing ...lol... but each day, I get better and better at it, and I keep at it, which is the big deal for me. Thanks again for your good wishes.
