a little spinning
I headed to Aaron’s Thursday after work for a little biking action. Aaron and his fiance’ got bike trainers for Christmas so he invited me to come over every Thursday for a little spinning. We are looking for a good spin DVD but for now we are just did a warm up followed by intervals of four minutes low intensity and one minute high intensity. We’ll do that until I have at least a couple spins under my belt. I was only able to spin for about 40 minutes this Thursday but the plan is to do one hour sessions from this point forward.
It was a great workout and a lotta fun – especially since we watched a looney tunes DVD on Aaron’s computer while we worked out! It was pretty similar to my bike commutes (but without the traffic) and I was pretty happy since it hardly felt I’d been off the bike and I felt really good all day today with virtually no soreness.
I’m looking forward to more spinning AND my first kick at swimming which will happen tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
Here’s hoping I don’t drown!
