VO2 Max Testing

passion for running category: running on Wednesday, December 15 2004

Since Jon asked, here is a link that goes into some explanation about VO2 Max testing. I’m sure there are better sources out there but I find this guy easy to understand.

Hmm. A constant 8:30 pace up a 15 degree slope after ten minutes? Sounds fun. Hard, but fun. Hmm. Methinks I need to find an assistant. And, ideally, a 40 degree gym (hey, every edge counts)… Either way, that would be a nice benchmark.

Heh. Only 15 minutes. How bad can it be? ;-) Sounds like a fun one to try, really.
