The ankle was sore again today so no running…sigh.
Patience Mark. Patience.

Oh, man, that’s so difficult. But you are doing the right thing. Eventually that patience will reward you.

I personally feel that a running day lost to injury deserves special “crosstraining”. I’m planning on watching the extended version of Return of the King on DVD.
Sorry the ankle is sore, Mark. Sounds like you’ve got 3 steps forward and 1 step back, but it IS moving forward, and that is great. Patience, indeed.

Sorry to continue the off-topic excursion, but is there somewhere you can get that DVD now? I’ve been waiting for it and all the places around here say not for another week! You don’t have to wait for an injury off-day either. I’ve found those work well after 20-milers, too.

Maybe you could try some non-impact crosstraining to ease the frustration such as an elliptical or a stairclimber.

So the ankle went from “rocked” to sore?? Maybe it was a weather changing thing. Maybe you will have to come water running with me!

I’m sorry. I am only beginning to understand how frustrated I feel when I don’t run. Time will help.
