Went for a run with “Sister” Corinne today and boy did I ever suck at it! It is amazing how four weeks of virtually no running can change your fitness level.

Oh well. We had a nice, slow 55 minute run in beautiful FINTER conditions. “Finter” because we are definitely not experiencing winter conditions and it doesn’t quite seem like fall so FINTER seems about right. It was a nice Finter day for a run!

The ankle is still a bit tender. Gotta take it easy for a while yet. The good news is I CAN. ;)

You can! C’est magnifique. Oh – and merry finter to you! What suffered, speed or stamina?

Thanks Richard. I think BOTH suffered. Speed because the ankle doesn’t permit it and stamina because…well, just BECAUSE!

Finter, I like it!! So while I’m freezing, I’ll say, hey it’s just finter. Maybe it’ll work.

Hey Mark, Yeah being injured is never fun. It seems like every time I train for a big race like oh lets say, LA or Orange County Marathons i seem to get injuryed. I have been out so long this time that I am afriad to get back to running. But Iam not stopping. Its taking me a long while to get back into it. Good luck and hope the ankle is feeling better soon.

Personally, I’m just adding to the “ha ha” agreement with how good a term “finter” is. Definitely a canadian term. : )

Maybe you need more time with Gretchen? I wonder if she’s feeling a little neglected at this point.
