the ankle rocks part 2
Got out as planned for a 45 minute lunch run. I had unexpected company – Nick sauntered onto the elevator and asked to join me just as I was on my way to change. Of course the answer was an affirmative with the provision it had to be a slow run. Nick cheerily obliged noting it must have been two or more months since we last ran together.
What a glorious day it was for a run. Sunny and warm with fresh, crisp air whisking it’s way into my happy 37 year-old lungs. I felt truly blessed to be out doing what I’m passionate about.
Just a big ol’ smile across my face right now.
