There’s a first time for everything huh? (I’m talking to Lori and Aaron)

Well, it is a sprain. A sprain of the medial ankle ligament to be more precise. I explained what happened to the doc, showed him which angles it hurt to move the foot in and the first spot he applied pressure to was the exact correct spot! He just knew.

The prescription is to ice alot – especially to ice immediately after running. Did you catch that last part? I get to run. I’ve been limited to under 30 minutes for the next couple of weeks but at least I get to run!

Yay!

P.S. My car is all better too. Lots of heat coming out of the heater. :)

Everyday a 30mins running workout sounds not too bad. And don’t forget all that cross-training!!!

Sounds like a great day for the healing power of blogging. And I understand completely about the doctor – always nice when someone can actually prove that they know what they’re talking about. Mine would try different places saying, “This shouldn’t hurt…[press]…neither should this…[press]…I bet this will though…[press]…[yelp]…Yup, its tendonitis, but not bad.” That was an almost verbatim quote of the “discussion”.

Awesome! That’s gotta make your day. That’s 30 minutes of running a day to be thankful for!

How much time you allowed to run Mark. I thought I had snapped a tendon the other day but it seems ok. Nice to be wrong.
