I am a Mac user (at home) so it goes without saying I have a bit of a hate-on for Microsoft.

In particular, right now I have a major hate-on for Internet Explorer. I won’t get into specifics but suffice to say, I hate this browser both as a user and as a web developer (hey – that second label sounded kind of cool!).

Anyway, if you haven’t checked out Mozilla Firefox yet, browse this article and then do yourself a favour and download it as fast as you can!

Don’t worry, it will import all your bookmarks.

Already there Mark. But I’m still not going to convert to Mac. Hehe…Firefox is nice though. And Thunderbird for email.

Heh. Don’t even get me started on that topic. I’ve been a perfectly happy Linux user for many many years now. :) But yeah, pretty much the only reason to use IE is if you really like getting your share of free spyware, popups, and weekly critical security updates. MS would always rather save you a mouse click than make you confirm whether you want to run some program you may not even have known you downloaded. Although, if it’s the tabbed browsing and other cool new features you can’t live without I’m sure MS will eventually copy them into their product…
