i’d like to thank my mom and my dad, my coach and…
…I’ve always wanted to say that!
Ever just feel really grateful to be able to run?
Well, that’s my state of mind right now. Yesterday’s success at the race made me think how grateful I am to be doing what I love doing – and even improving it at. Enjoyment and self-improvement – what a great combination that is huh?
I’m really grateful. Really really grateful. Really really really grateful. Really.
I don’t know if you believe in God and/or Karma, just plain hard work and determination or all of the above but it really is an amazing thing to have one’s health and to be able to run. I mean that sincerely while being full of respect and admiration for those around me who can’t run right now due to injury.
I’m also grateful for all the terrific people in my life who’ve pushed, pulled, poked & prodded, inspired, coached, educated and supported me and my running.
My Friends: Aaron, Tom, “Little Sis” Corinne, “Mother Goose” Leslie, Doug, Nick, Barry, Jean and a whole buncha others…
Family: Lori and the kids, my parents and now even my in-laws. They’ve all been quite supportive and even INTERESTED (maybe they’re faking it!) in my running. My sorta sister-in-law even sent me an email on Friday to wish me luck on the race. How nice is that?
The RBF: Too cool! Who’da thunk such a fine group of people existed? A bunch of runners from all corners of the continent and even the world supporting and inspiring one another. Wow!
I tell ya, it’s all good…ALL GOOD!

All this format changing is giving me a headache.
Lovely post.
It’s true our little RBF is a great (and odd) bunch of people!
But are you grateful?
