Yup. I’m here but am on a one week break from work (thanks for the concern Deene). We are staying close to home doing short outings such as attending a cultural festival on Saturday and going to the beach yesterday.

My schedule is completely out of whack! I ran on Saturday and then, as is my custom, took Sunday off completely.

Monday, I usually bike to work. Well, since I wasn’t going to work, it didn’t seem right to bike there. ;)

I didn’t run either on Monday and it was 9:00 p.m. before I ran last night.

Of course, the blogging has taken a back seat. I hope to catch up with some reading this evening.

On a personal high note, Christopher said his first SENTENCE yesterday! We had returned from the beach and I was watching some video I’d taken of the kids playing. Christopher came over and watched with me. He kept saying “go, go, go, go” and cried when I told him he we couldn’t because it was near bed time.

Ten minutes later he returned, pointed at the screen and said very CLEARLY, “Wanna go – - beach”!

It brought a tear to my eye. Now, there’s a good reward for spending time with the family if I ever saw one!

Hey, I say complete sentences all the time and people don’t cry. I’m … Oh yeah.

Congrats!!!

My daughter’s first (and frequent) sentence was: “I want to do it.”

A man after my own heart. I think that must have been my first sentence, too!! Enjoy your time off, Mark.
