I was quite a sight to look at this morning.

It’s Wednesday which means I take a break from bike commuting. On Wednesday’s I try to do a clothes switch in my locker – I bring dirty work clothes home and bring in replacements.

I’ve been ravenous at work lately – I suppose because of all the biking and weightlifting. It’s starting to cost me big $$$ to snack at work so last night I did some shopping for food to bring to the office.

This morning I got out of my car with two arm loads of clothes and lots of food.

I got a few looks walking to my office building but it was once I got inside when it got really funny. I mean – how often do you see people walking around an office with bags of groceries and hangers of clothes?

I have to admit I musta looked like quite the idiot. One guy from my gym even asked “what the hell” I was doing!

But SCREW all of them because I’m sitting at my desk with a full tummy, wearing clean clothes and looking forward to a great lunchtime run!

Monday morning, there I was, trudging up the hill to work, carrying 1) a grocery bag full of food for the week 2) a gift-bag full of b-day gifts 3) my backpack – no purse for me, thanks…too small and 4) my GIGANTIC lunch bag, bulging with more food. (And in the winter, I bring a gym bag full of workout gear so I can run before it gets dark out!)

Lucky for me, campus is quiet when I come in!

The things we do to run (and bike and lift weights and stay fit and full!)

Good for you!! I have a small cooler I keep at my desk. So picture this…. cooler in one hand, gym bag over shoulder, briefcase over the other, as well as a purse!!!!

It’s all good and a full tummy is a happy tummy!!! Enjoy your run.

The snacks! Oh, yes. Its hard to hide them. I keep them in the bottom drawer of my desk but sometimes people spot the hoard when I open the drawer. If you keep a file folder over it, it helps to hide it.
