What a brutally tough run today’s was. I mean, it is a TOUGH route (the 4 hill route) but I had zero energy today plus it was HOT and humid – the opposite of what I’d call good conditions for running.

I think my flux capacitor fried a circuit or my dilythium crystals are drained.

Then again, maybe I’m just tired from yesterday! At any rate, I really sucked out there today.

zzzzzzzzz…

Hey Bro,

I was with you on the run and you didn’t suck out there!!! It was a tough run with tough conditions. Great Job!!! Also, you really should read your own blogs as you would realize you’ve had HUGE intensity over the last month – if not longer???? So give yourself a break….not every run will be clear sailing especially given the workouts you do in one week! I’m not nagging (I hope) but REST is not a dirty word you know – ha, ha!! I am inspired by your intensity – keep up the fantastic work.

I’m sure you did great, but even if you didn’t, I love the quote by Hal Higdon, “I don’t recognize the adjective “slow” when it comes to running. All runners I know are “fast,” no matter at what speed they run. If you worry about being perceived as a slowpoke, simply compare yourself to those potatoes, who never get off their couches.” :)

Pam, you just kill me. No – I’m not human. I’m like Rocky IV where the russian boxer says, “he is not human – he is machine”.

I’m just trying to be smart…

Thanks for the smile :)
