When I first got injured I kind of felt like it was the end of the world. When I start running again I hope that I will be a little more alert to avoiding injury but also a little less neurotic if I do sustain one.

Good that you are sensitive to your fatigue right now Mark - please step away from the "verge."

I didn't realize it was that common. Interesting.
Still dealing with ITB stuff myself, so now I don't feel AS bad.

Hope your year is filled with injury-free running!!!!

After increasing my speed work with no reduction in mileage, I have a sore knee. I am on two weeks rest, strengthening exercises and NSIADs. I hope to be back on the roads this weekend.

I'm currently recovering from a type three sprain on my left foot from the time I jumped off the 10 foot slide on the Marine Corps inflatable obstacle course last year. I only notice it on the runs over 7 miles so far.

Since I've put in my one injury already, if can just throw my back out by December, I'll be free and clear for all of 2005. :)
