A Passion for Running

Welcome to the home of Mark aka The Running Blogfather – a 40 year-old dad, husband and marathon runner who's beaten injury and is on the comeback trail!

cha cha cha changes

passion for running category: running on Sunday, June 20 2004

Well, my list of running bloggers (or was that blogging runners?) has grown to over 60 of us nuts so my little blog has been getting kinda cluttered and I’d like to make room for some other stuff so…

What I’ve done is to make a separate webpage that lists all the running blogs, first names and geographic location – the last part is a work in progress.

I think some of you might be using my blog as kind of a bookmark page (Jon?) so my apologies if this creates inconvenience but feel free to bookmark the page I’ll be using to keep in touch with all of you!

I’ve also left a link to that page at the top left side of my blog right over there below the completerunning logo.

I’m thinking about making a different page of all the blogs. It would be a map with website links showing where each of us is located. Think of a map of North America where you’d see “A Passion for Running” having a link where Edmonton is and where Jon in Michigan, Annalisa in Boston etc etc. Of course, we’d have to have maps representing our intercontinental bloggers as well.

Would that be a good idea? Maybe you have a different thought?

Please let me know if this change really bugged ya’ cause I could always change it back if that’s what the majority want. :)

Oh, and make sure you look through the list – I’ve added three new ones today!

What a stupendous contribution that would be Mark! Your hard work in keeping track of all us running ‘nuts’ is sincerely appreciated. This is a community that has changed some really important aspects of my running passion and knowledge. I love the map idea! Can’t wait to see the finished product.

Hi Mark,

great idea having a separate web page with some more info on the blogs! And you never know how much more will be added in future. Actually I have some more but they are in German language ;-(

Thanks for the work on the blog list, Mark. Ofcourse, now I have to change my links to accomodate it, but I will try to manage :) Do you mind if I post a link to the blog list on a running forum?
