Below is a photo of the view outside my window at work. It was taken late last fall after most of the leaves had fallen so it looks a little bleak but, if you use a bit of imagination, you can probably get an idea of how stunning a view it is.

I’m telling ya, even in the winter when sunshine glows off a fresh blanket of snow, I just take one look out this window and am always inspired to get out and run. We are going through a re-org at work and it looks like I will soon be moved to the north side of the building. Once that happens, my view will be of a busy street and some boring old buildings - blah.

So boo-hoo…no more beautiful river valley view. I guess I have to be grateful and enjoy it while I’m here.

Ahh, what a beautiful view and that is too bad that you will be moving. What building are you in anyway? I am in Sun Life Place on the 21st floor, gorgeous!!! I wish I had a digital camera and I would take pictures and upload them for you. I am situated on the east and south corner of the building and since we are on the east end of downtown, there are no buildings to obscure the view. So it’s quite magnificent. Hey, by the way, I wanted to ask you, are you still bicycling to work? How’s that going? I bicycle back and forth and at first I found it affected my running, as my legs were more tired and I actually had to cut back on my running because I couldn’t do both everyday. But things are better now. I am feeling stronger and I love biking!!! It’s so great! So, at the moment, I am struggling with myself to register for the Canada Day Race. I don’t feel prepared for it, but it’s such a lovely race. I should just do it. right?! Have a great day! :o) Oh by the way, I am really enjoying the blogs!
