My name is Mark - some people call me the Running Blogfather. I'm a 40 year-old marathoner who has beaten stress fractures and terrible shin splints. Now I'm running double the mileage I was doing prior to my injuries with no pain whatsoever - and I'm getting faster.

My message is that you can beat injury and improve with age too. You can do it!
