Yes Edmonton was our previous posting. We have been moved further north now to Cold Lake though...heavy on the COLD. LOL I did so love Edmonton though and Calgary before that. My Husband jokes that they are simply moving us further and further north until we come right back around the other side. :) I love reading about your runs because I know most of the locations you speak of.

Thanks a lot Reba. He's doing a cazillion times better now and his breathing seems fine. We'll be visiting our pediatrician soon but I'm hopeful it is a viral induced thing (as you mentioned above) and is easily managed.

On another note - you are from the Edmonton Area?! Cool!

Oh your poor little man. My eldest (8yrs) has viral induced asthmatic response; i.e. She sort of gets temporary asthma when she is sick. It's important to use the protocols carefully when the virus first hits but if you do it's very manageable. We went to the asthma training clinic at the Sturgeon in St. Albert when she was 2 and learned tons to help her and understand it all. I do hope your little sweetie doesn't suffer too often or much with it. Sending positive thoughts.

Now as to your Achilles, good job recovering! What a great feeling when we beat a physical set back...the world is your oyster.

Glad that the achilles has mended, and especially glad that Christopher is feeling better. My niece (20 months old) gets hit hard with every repiratory bug that comes around and is a hairbreadth away from an asthma diagnosis (runs in her fam), but once it's diagnosed there are good protocols to manage it and things may actually get easier in that way. Best wishes!
