non-start excuses
Update on the new bike saga…
I’m a bit disappointed at the non-start I had for beginning bike commuting this week. My goal had been to start early in the week but it got cold and snowed (argh) and then I just couldn’t seem to get my s#%t together. I would have biked for the first time this morning but yesterday I forgot to bring dress clothes and leave my running gear at work (duh) and all that stuff would have been too much to carry in my backpack.
Tomorrow is Friday so my NEW goal will be to bring three days of work clothes to hang in my locker and begin biking on Monday.
On another note – I’m pretty tired and sore today after yesterday’s punishing hill run. It’ll be great to hook-up with Aaron for our Thursday evening recovery run!
