And I ran for an hour in my mom’s basement.

And it was hard. I know the most recent weight gain happened over the last month, hallowe’en coupled with my employment quandry made of a very snacky Pamalama.

It just takes me a while to recognize that. GOD!

School buses are canceled here today. Freezing rain is the culprit. No buses means no school for at least one of my kids, well two if they continue to be canceled this afternoon, since Noah really is the only walker in his kindergarten class.

Now he’s never seen or read the DaVinci code (yet) so he’s really just basing his humour on what info he gathers from TV ads and our conversations, but still…pretty funny eh?

This doesn’t make Amanda very happy…she just doesn’t see the humor. Although I know very very well that if it wasn’t her boyfriend she would totally think it was hillarious. She’d make fun of him with me…we might make a night of it.

He actually a struggling magicion that happens to sponging off my dear friend at the moment. When we met Mikal Mysik he was a beer runner at a local bar. They met a drink and drunken make out session…and he doesn’t seem to have ever left the basement apartment Amanda rents from her father. Correction he left at one point to quit his job. Apperently he knows his heart in magic and has decided to follow his dream now matter the cost (to amanda). LOL
One would think he could snap his fingers and wave his magic wond “hockus pockus alamagockus” and low be hold A JOB! YAY maybe he’t not that kind of magicion. Maybe they don’t do that kinda…what do I know about magic morals…

Anyway, speaking of my sister…I MISS HER (and her cooking). I live way to far away from her and her little boys. Very sad. This winter wonderland is quickly losing it’s charm. Having lived with her from a long long time I’m having some trouble getting used to her not being close by. Breaking up is NO fun with out her around to drink wine/beer and bitch about the ex with! The depths of despair leave quite a lot to be desired without my sister! sniff sniff…

Other than that she says hello….and thats all my Pam news. So she isn’t in jail SO THERE JON! you can stop baking the cake with the nail file in it.

As for me not a lot is new. I applied for a new at the bank I work at…should hear about that next week.

Also, while shopping with my brother today I came to realise that I have a sock buying problem. I have a ridiculusly large sock stash. I buy socks every weekend…I can’t help myself! Hmmm I wonder if there is a 12 step program for that…

I moved this past week. I’m renting a room from my best friends mother. It’s a little odd…she lives in the same house she lived when my friend and I were in high school. It still looks the same…my friends room is the same way that SHE AND I set it up when they moved in when we were 16! Seems like I should be there skipping chemisty class or something…

Anyway today he said something about rembrance day being a holiday and I said that perhaps it was government holiday but I still had school and everything was still open. He says no everything is closed including the schools. So trying to keep the peace I suggested that perhaps it was a provincal thing and he says and I quote “nope it’s a holiday you didn’t have school”

I totally had school! I checked my planner! Not only did i have school but I also had a midterm! As far as I am aware they don’t schedual mid terms for when the school is closed! I also found in my planner that I had to work that night as well! Again not something that usually done on a national holiday!

Natraually I immedially sent my sister a message tell her about this little tiff…and turns out Brendan also had school that day!

He totally wrong and it’s taking so serious self control to not point that out! grrr…
